Vipingo Big Day!!
A community day filled with fun, tournaments, dancing, food, music, games, entertainment, and most importantly the Gospel!
The name of Jesus was shared far and wide today on the Crossroads Academy campus!!

Today was a Great Day. Today was The Big Day at Crossroads Academy in Vipingo. Crossroads Academy was the venue for an awesome community outreach program.
So many activities:
Handing out treats. The kids were so appreciative. They crowded around every mission volunteer.
The Bubble Blasters were a big hit. At 15000 bubbles per minute it was entertaining watching their eyes light up as they chased and grabbed the bubbles.
The camel rides were a big hit as well. The camels breath wasn't as bad as we expected.
We served several meals of rice, potatoes, a piece of meat and 1/2 banana.
It was such a blessing that older siblings took care of the younger ones by ensuring the younger sibling had a plate beforing taking one for themselves.
The same for the candy suckers. The older sibling would give the sucker first to the younger sibling then take one for themselves.
Throughout the day a disc jockey played lively African music. At one point the disc jockey held a Bible contest were children competed reciting Bible verses.
We also ran into Charlie from Renewal Project Africa. Charlie was part of the Bay Area Student Ministry. He lives in Mombasa and is a graduate of Valerie McMillan High School.
The children are so loving and kind. They run up to hold your hand. This is God's work and his creation.
