We made it thru the lines, security, broken escalators, and more line but were all on board and ready to get the last 4 up downs complete (we make a pit stop to drop off and pick up some passengers). Teams spirits are all up and looking forward to our arrival into mombasa.
Landed in Istanbul

Pastor Guy & Denise in Kenya
Guy and I arrived in Kenya Friday afternoon. We have been blessed to spend some time with our partners here in Kenya as we prepare for the Kenya team to arrive. Guy is preaching at Crossroads Fellowship in Mombasa tomorrow morning. He is doing a 3 week series on saying YES! to God. The team departs from Fox River at 5pm on Sunday/tomorrow and will arrive at 3am in Mombasa on Tuesday. It's a long, tiring journey. Please pray for them as they travel: for safety, smooth connections, grace and some sleep along the way.
Thank you for partnering with us through prayer!

Sunday's Arrive in Nicaragua
From Rosie:
We arrived in Managua at 1:15pm. The ride north, with 2 quick stops, took 5 hours. We arrived at the clinic just before dark and enjoyed a delicious home cooked meal of chorizo, rice & beans, avocado, salsa, bread & fresh fruit (fabulous chocolate cake for dessert). Following dinner we went to our dormitory. They ran a generator so we could have light for a short time to get settled and find our lanterns. After hanging our mosquito nets and making our beds, everyone was sound asleep by 9:00. It was a long day, but everyone was very excited to start the medical work the next day.
A Final Word from Rosie
Everyone was exhausted but very happy to have been through the experience over the last week. We were challenged, seeing many patients and conditions we had not dealt with before. We were challenged, sharing tight quarters with 18 roommates 24/7.
But what we take with us is...
We were encouraged, by each other and the beautiful Nicaraguan people. We are motivated, to serve others by using our gifts from God. We are grateful, for all of the experiences that have changed us.
It truly was our pleasure to serve side by side with the Nicaraguan team and represent Fox River.
